Everytime I find myself in Scarborough as of late, I have been making it a point to come to this particular hole in the wall restaurant which may possibly serve THE best kottu roti in all of the GTA. Every single order of kuttu rotti is made on the spot on the large griddle right behind the counter, which allows the customer to witness the effort that goes into every single order. The smells and flavours inside the restaurant may be strong, yet invokes memories of our old country. Thank you! Oh and the biryani and kottu rotti each cost 8.
Really delicious, affordable food. Got the 3 breakfast special, which includes chai as well. She makes the dosa for you right there, then assembles it for take-out (no sit-down). A little bit spicy, and well balanced. My boyfriend doesn't usually like idli or dosa, but he kept eating from mine... I'd definitely suggest this place!

Tried the Nasi Goreng at New Kalani Dine in place and it was absolute divine! The portion size is enough for two, and the toppings especially the fried eggadded a great touch. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. Service was attentive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely one of the best Nasi Gorengs I've had in Scarborough ! Will be coming often to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

Mouthwatering Sri Lankan & East-Indian cuisine served here at the best possible prices. Had mutton kothu roti - perfect balance of spice blended and the fluffy roti and slow cooked mutton just made the meal soulful.
One of the best place for snacks and tea. Recently they have started a dine in space as well. The ambience and customer service over there is great. They have different varieties of food at an affordable price. Recommended!
